You are invited to join the Horsham College Alumni.  At Horsham College, we believe a student’s relationship with the College doesn’t have to end when they graduate.

If you graduated from Horsham High School, Horsham Technical School or Horsham College you are a part of the College’s alumni community.

Our alumni program seeks to connect and reconnect with former students and provide them with the opportunity to be involved in the life of the College in a whole range of meaningful ways.  As an alumni you can get involved in college events, share your career and life experiences with groups of current students, support students through sponsoring awards and scholarships, or simply stay up-to-date with what is happening at the College and network with other alumni.

The personal information required from you will include:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Years you attended Horsham College
  • Email
  • Address
  • Current occupation
  • Major achievements
  • Areas of expertise
  • Areas where you would be interested in assisting the College
  • Are you prepared to come into school to speak about your life experience

Why do we collect your personal information

The information below is important because it explains how Horsham College is going to collect and use your personal alumni information.  The school is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all former students’ personal information.  Individual alumni data will only be accessed by the Alumni Coordinator who will be employed by Horsham College.  The data will be stored electronically at Horsham.

How will we collect personal information

We will collect your personal information in several ways:

  • By collecting the data provided by you on your completed alumni sign-up form
  • By receiving updates from you
  • By accessing public social networking profiles and other publicly available information to ensure that our alumni records are up to date

 How will we use your information

We will use your information to enable us to contact you occasionally via phone or email so that you can stay in touch with our school and our alumni community.  This may include, but is not limited to, inviting you to give a careers or study talk to current students, inviting you to an alumni event or letting you know about a school project you may be interested in supporting.  We will also use your personal information to send requests to update contact details.

Who will be able to access this information

  • Principal – they will be able to see a full list
  • Alumni Coordinator – they will be able to access all details and will manage the list and contact alumni
  • Staff will not have access to the database, but will be given contact information on a needs basis. For example to invite a relevant guest speaker to their class

How to remove yourself from the list

Once you have joined, if you no longer wish to receive further communications from us, or you no longer wish to have your alumni details registered with us, you may contact the school’s Alumni Coordinator at any time and your personal information will be removed from our files.

If you would like to be added to join the alumni, please fill out the following Alumni Registration form.  By doing so, you will be sharing your contact details.  We will only collect your information if you are aged 18 or over.
